A sheepish Senator Huo explained, "Well, unfortunately,
that _was_  the summarized version developed by the firm
of Goulding, Nepveu and Boye, the same folk who were able
to reduce the tax code to the side of a cereal box and the Clean
Air Act to a tooth-paste box  insert. This _is_ Medicare, after
all...and we felt it best to just go with the 600 page version,
especially after four months locked in a small
dark basement room they started going feral and
shooting at random lobbyists and passerby, looting local
bookstores, advocating the execution of everyone over the
age of 65 and  even going as far as scratching the paint on
President Novak's  car while "taking these Abrams Tanks
for a spin." I have to say that President Novak
took it in stride --the screaming stopped after thirty minutes...."
