Outskirts of Chicago sounds good; you pick the exact locale, I'm not very familiar with the area. Preferably on a hilltop away from things, so that the garden bar/buffet will have a good view. The swimming pool is optional, the helicopter pad is not; we need a convenient way to get there. Five IMAX screens OK, or would we want six to cut down on the need for movie rotation? Need to consult Leigh for the best design, of course. THX certified sound to start with, but if there's anything better out there that I don't know yet, no need to cut corners in that aspect. Must have a no-expenses-spared, nothing-left-out archive. Please submit your requests (_Dungeons and Dragons_ will _not_ be considered for inclusion, but _The Phantom Menace_ will probably be, for the sake of completeness and the Most Incredible Lightsaber Fight To Date.) We'll employ some experts for the digitization and restoration of old classics that no one else is taking care of, naturally. We'll also have several experts employed to pick indie/international movies that are good but might otherwise slipped through our scan. Maybe the five star restaurant connected to the lobby is an extravagant idea; would folks be just as happy with a high-end deli or tapas place? Ticket reservation? I _hrmph_. Everyone has reserved seats, and the theater isn't open to public. In fact, provided we can tweak the acoustic design properly, we don't need to have rows of seats. Personal arrangements scattered on the audience floor sounds like a good idea. Please submit your personal preference specifications (rugs and cushions on the floor? Loveseat? Deep man-eating couch? First-class airplane seat?) Come to think of it, I _don't_ want to know what personal arrangements The Loy will require. Please submit those in a closed envelope directly to the architects. For the needs of those wanting to binge on a three-day weekend personal movie festival, some accommodations will be provided---simple but dignified sleeping quarters with room service and breakfast. Huge screen in the lobby playing nonstop trailers and the arcade with no coin limit stocked with Virtua Fighter and other arcade games, console gaming units with Final Fantasy and GTA3 and your other selections, childcare and specially-designed children's theater, library with large SF selection complementing the movie reference section--- Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the RASFWRJ Movie Palace. Enjoy. (Was that anything like what you had in mind, Humblest?) -- Zeynep Dilli GE/MU/S/L d--(+) s: a24 C++ US+ P L+>++ E-- W++>$ N++ K++ w>-- !O M- V?
