(Of course I think John's one of those people that are perpetually old and
wisened beyond their years.  I picture John, in the quintessential infant
picure, layin' butt nekid on a rug, already showin' signs of a five
o'clock shadow with a look that says he's absolutely and utterly bored out
of his fuckin' gourd and while willing to indulge the parental units in
their joyous exhuberance over having such a wonderful new baby, it is him,
after all--but only to a point--and that point is rapidly approaching at
nine tenths the speed of light--so get the fuck on with it, already.)
