By, for example, coming out to the Midwest last week... Actually, this is one of the times when working in medical reasearch sixty-feet below ground is great. Nobody looks at you funny if you spend the night --you're a MD/PhD. That's what you're *supposed* to be doing. And, there's the bonus of the standard dress code being a lab coat, as opposed to a suit and tie. You can wear anything you want under a lab coat. If I was buck-ass naked under the lab coat nobody would know. If I was wearing fishnet stockings and lavender French-maid naughty lingerie nobody would know. If I ripped the covers off of a hundred Xanth novels, shredded them into little colored bits, and then used modeling paste and two- part epoxy to craft a mosaic of Chuck Woolery's stern visage all across my nude body, nobody would know [1]. Life is good. -Jeff Who personally prefers a t-shirt and shorts, but hey, your taste in fashion may vary. [1] Well, up until I went stark raving bat-s**t from contact poisoning from the epoxy, jump on top of my bench and do my best rendition of "Moon River" in Kurdish using my Pipettman 1000 as a microphone, but that's just minor details. -- Jeff Huo | jeff@spundreams.net.nospam (remove nospam) U.
