Subject: Why in the hell is Drew using Deja News? gly12 From: drew@cncglobal.com Organization: Deja News - The Leader in Internet Discussion Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1998 16:37:11 GMT Newsgroups: rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan And what was up with that LeisureForce thing anyway? And what is with the new e-mail address? And just who is this Drew character? Those are all very good questions. I'm absolutely certain that each one of you has had these very same questions run through your head, at least twice a day. They are some of the great mysteries of the Universe. And this post is here to lift the veil of ignorance, and shed light upon the unwashed masses. There is, as Douglas Adams would put it, an holistic quality to all of these questions. They all lead back around and are bound and linked by the interconnectedness of all things. I am the Drew character. I have returned. I have brought with me a very large and viable clear plexiglass ruler to use as a clue stick. you may refer to me as "Schpang Guy". The new e-mail address comes from my new job. I am an administrative branch assistant, which means "receptionist" in the Old Tongue. The e-mail address is from them, and will only be checked Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Those of you that wish wisdom from me after that time can use leisureforce@prodigy.net or the old kidprobability@hotmail.com address. I would prefer to stay away from the hotmail account, but I will not be able to access the leisureforce account between the hours of 9 AM to 5PM. The hotmail account is accessable, of course, anytime, anywhere. Take your chances. The Leisureforce thing is hard to explain. It is a blanket of things, and covers a recording studio, a potential clothing label, a computer consulting company, a web comic, an on-line record store, and a bunch of people that like to sit around and party. The computer I recently set up at home has the prodigy account on it (not my decision) and when I began posting again, the profiles had not been changed. I am using Deja News because my new job does not subscribe to any newsgroups on their network server, so I have no access to the newsgroup while I am at work. Me being the problem solving type guy that I am, set up this account with Deja News, so that all my slow time at work could be used spreading enlightenment here. So there you go. All the answers to the questions that have been burning and consuming your mind, keeping you awake at night. I have returned! you may grovel now, and send forth your virgins for sacrifice. -- Drew Gillmore drew@cncglobal.com http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Screen/1195/ Updated!
